General
- Who is eligible to participate?
University graduates who have completed their first law degree equivalent to an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited university. Examples include: Abogado, Licenciatura, B.C.L, Laureate
- Can I really participate from anywhere?
You can study from any location that has a computer and a connection to the internet. Lawyers choose to participate at home, in their offices, or while traveling.
- What equipment do I need?
You will need these items: a pc or laptop (not a Macintosh); a cable or wireless internet connection; a microphone, in the event that your computer does not have a built-in microphone.
- In what languages are the classes taught?
You can choose from classes taught in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Most instructors are bi-lingual, and some are tri-lingual. The primary language of instruction will be indicated for each course section, and you have the flexibility to choose your language of instruction for each course.
- What is the typical class schedule?
Classes are offered in the afternoon and early evening. Most courses meet once per week for up to 2.5 hour weekly over an eight-week session. You can choose to enroll in up to two courses per session.
