International Commercial Arbitration

Arbitration has grown exponentially throughout the world, and through the years has developed its own refined procedures and rules.   In this course participants will focus specifically on the use of commercial arbitration in the international forum as an alternative to litigation in a foreign court.  Participants will engage in the process from drafting the arbitration clause, though the selection of the panel of arbitrators, and including the arbitration audience. The learner will explore the common problems that arise in the arbitration process, and analyze the methods for seeking recognition and enforcement by national governments.
